Introduction of Bali

Our first stop is the stone carving village of Batubulan to see the colourful and exciting Barong & Kris Dance. This dance tell of the eternal fight beetwen good and evil and is an epic from the Mahabrata story. After the performance we leave for Kintamani; travel from the palm-fringed shores of the lowlands to the towering mountains of the north, encompassing across-section of the entire island of Bali. We visit the village of Mas, famous for wood carvings and watch the workers enfolding the intricate designs from the many variaties of woods and also the village of Celuk reknowned for its silver crafts. A visit will also be made to the Elephant Cave ( Goa Gajah ) a complex built in the 11th century.
