He sent his friend Made who took us to Uluwatu helped us buy a SIM card and then took us to Jimbaran for a sea food dinner.A rather funny and unfortunate incident at Uluwatu. I was standing near the car park and this naughty monkey sneaked up on my shoulder and made off with my very expensive spectacles. He broke them twisted the frame and let go of them when offered a corn-on-cob by a vendor. The vendor demanded money for corn. Makes me think that the co(r)nman and monkey were hand-in-glove monkey business this.
Next day apple came himself and drove us to Kintamani Ubud Tagallang rice fields.
Both he and Made made this trip fun and memorable. Both speak good English and have first hand knowledge about the island.I was particularly interested in the way the Hindu religion and culture is practiced in Bali to see how different it is from that in India.
If you book his tours he will make the experience interesting but i suggest you book full day tours. Half day tours are not value for money and there is a charge for extra hours.
That said I would say you still save time and money than if you did the whole Bali experience on your own. I doubt you will get a better experience than Wayan Tours
