Estuvimos de viaje de novios un mes este pasado verano. Hace ya 5 meses que hemos vuelto y no he olvidado a Cristina (la guía) y a Putu (el chófer)... de verdad que pienso en ellos y me emociono. A través de una amiga que estuvo en Bali el verano pasado contactamos con la agencia de Wayan. Son 3 guías Wayan, Cristina y López cada uno con su chófer y su Toyota nuevecito dispuestos a enseñarte todos los rincones de la isla con una sonrisa.
Bali is a very spiritual, relaxing and truly magical place
My husband and I took a trip to Bali to celebrate our anniversary and I must say that Wayan made the trip a great experience. Wayan is a man full of knowledge. He knows a lot about Bali and the tremendous culture that continues to exist there despite the rapid growth in tourism. Wayan was more than happy to share his knowledge with us and answered just about every question we had. He has a great sense of humor and is very attentive to your needs.

Wayan Susana (Apple) is a great person to deal with and a very happy natured guy, always prompt with replies to your emails and very cost effective. We did several hotel transfers with him around the island without a single hitch. Would not hesitate to use his services again.

Honest dependable guide to Bali - Wayan Apel
As with so many 'Wayan's' in Bali, Wayan Apel is a genuine guy. I've enjoyed two occasions touring with him, one of those with members of his family to a series of temples were they worshiped. He is a dedicated family man who takes his role as a tour guide around Bali seriously. He is also very devoted to his village and and the Balinese culture with it's rich spiritual foundations, as such he is a great source of knowledge and insight into the local beliefs.

The perfect guide to see the real Bali
We booked Wayan (otherwise known as 'Apple') before leaving the UK via email. No deposit required.He collected us promptly from our hotel and we drove to the west of Bali as part of our day's tour. We are keen photographers so mentioned specifically that we would like to see the rice terracies. We didn't expect to be walking bare foot through them - a magical experience that we will never forget.

Wayan made our trip to Bali!
My husband and I went to Bali for our Honeymoon. I found great revies on trip advisor about Wayan so decided to contact him while we were there. He picked us up from our hotel in Jimbaran, we weren't entirely sure where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see so we left it to him.
The BEST Guide in Bali!
Before our first trip to Bali, we read some reviews about Wayan on TripAdvisor and dedided to book him for one day when we were in Ubud. After that day with Wayan, we ended up booking him for 3 more days! Wayan is kind, knowledgeable, informative, humorous and treated us like friends rather than just a client. We left the planning up to him and we weren't disappointed! We visited many Temples, saw a Waterfall, viewed rice fields to just name a few activities.

You can make your own itinerary or choose from his suggested full day /half day. If you make your own perhaps skipping out some of the attractions then make sure you know the locations of the attractions and the order in which to see them and the time to allocate to them so that you don't crisscross the island and waste time and fuel.The first day we checked into our hotel in Kuta and requested Apple for a half day tour.

Wayan will always be my favoured driver. I take Mind, Body and Soul retreats to Bali every year and have been using Wayan for over 6 years. Wayan cares about me and my people and is always willing to make a huge effort to make their experience in Bali the best ever. He has a great personality and makes our time together a lot of fun. I totally trust Wayan and would highly recommend him to anyone going to Bali. He is the best!
Just book him! But do it early - he's a busy man
So, Wayan 'Apple' has turned from being a great driver to being a good friend. In May 2011 I travelled to Ubud as a guest and used Wayan. Now, I'm living here in Ubud, managing a hotel. And after a few months of much exposure to many drivers, I can honestly say he is 'top tier'. Just book him. Seriously, you won't regret it.
Great Tour with Wayan
My wife and I along with another couple, booked a day tour with Wayan through Toursbylocals.com, based on Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. Our tour included a couple of temple sites, terraced rice paddies, and a butterfly farm. Wayan arrived at our hotel exactly on time, and from the start was friendly and engaging. He had arranged for us to visit two temple sites, a butterfly farm, and terraced rice paddies. He obviously loves Bali and answered all our questions completely. absolutely gorgeous, Thank you Apple!
In august my husband Walter and me came to Bali with our 15 year old daughter Olivia. After a few days at the beach we booked a roundtrip tour for 12 days with Wayan Suzanna as our personal driver and guide, we spent a absolutely wonderful time together. He took us to places, we had never discovered by ourselves.
The Best Possible Return, after 20 Years
Before I went again to Bali (especially Ubud) after 20 years, I'd been warned that things were no longer the same, that it was very commercialized, and there was nothing to see. On arrival in Ubud, the changes in the physical landscape were indeed shocking. Jl Monkey Forest was totally unrecognizable save for the football field, and I was beginning to believe every word I heard about Bali just before I went.
The whole team are champions!
This was our first time using Wayan tours. Originally I had booked him only for airport and hotel transfers, but we ended up using Wayan and his friends on most days for tours and shopping trips. If Wayan is busy, he will ask if it is ok for him to send a friend. These guys are some of his best mates from his village and surrounds. Made was excellent and patient when it came to shopping trips. We achieved so much more by having him take us directly to the places we needed to go and dropping us off at the front door while he waited patiently in the car park.
Wonderful tour and wonderful new friend
This was our first trip to Bali and it was so great to find someone who immediately made us feel comfortable and had us laughing like old friends. Wayan had so much knowledge that was conveyed with such a passion for his country that it was impossible not to feel excited and captivated by this beautiful part of the world.
